* poor Ballack, penampilannya di Final jauh dr harapan...dgn kondisi yg tidak fit dia terkesan dipaksakan utk berlaga di partai puncak,
julukan spesialis runner up makin melekat di pundaknya...hanya kl mau jujur dia pemain yg selama perhelatan Euro 2008 menjadi nyawa bagi penampilan Jerman hingga mrk bisa muncul sampe partai puncak,

Ballack Highlights The Positives
German captain Michael Ballack was left understandably disappointed after losing the Euro 2008 final to Spain, but had words of praise nonetheless for his team mates.

Michael Ballack will perhaps be feeling the pain of losing the Euro 2008 final to Spain a little more than most as it adds to his back luck at major finals.

He lost a Champions League final to Real Madrid while at Bayer Leverkusen, and was on the losing side at this year’s Champions League final as Manchester United beat Chelsea.

Ballack was a major injury doubt before the final due to an injury aggravation picked up in the semi final win over Turkey. He did play. but struggled to make the impact he would have wanted as the Spanish midfield took control.

A single 33rd minute goal from Fernando Torres was the difference between the two teams, but Germany have Jens Lehmann to thank that the score was not higher in Spain’s favour.

“It’s always disappointing to lose a final” Ballack said after the final whistle.

“The team have played a fantastic Euro 2008 tournament, but unfortunately we made one or two mistakes too many tonight.

“We wanted to, but we just couldn’t do any more. We you look at the level of the team, they put in a superb effort. We can be proud” he added.

“Even with the huge disappointment, this team has performed excellently over the past few weeks.”

iye bener, kasian juga si Ballack. 2 kali kalah berturut2 di final, sebelumnya bersama Chelsea kalah adu penalti dari MU di final CL.

jangan2 ada hubungan ama nomor punggungnya di timnas? :suspicious:

bukan cuma ballack
schweini juga freekicknya gak karuan padahal biasanya freekicknya akurat,disamping itu
loew juga kurang jeli dalam melakukan pergantian pemain
tapi emang secara keseluruhan maennya spain lebih bagus

selamat deh buat spanyol yg udah menunggu selama 44 tahun
